Detroit Zoo Polk Penguin Conservation Center

Donor Recognition at the Polk Penguin Conservation Center

"The Polk Penguin Conservation Center is designed to set the new standard for penguin care and conservation worldwide."

This world-class conservation center spans 33,000 square feet and includes a 326,000-gallon aquatic habitat where visitors can observe four species of penguins. The environment is crafted to encourage natural behaviors and ensure optimal welfare for the penguins.

The construction of this extraordinary facility was a major undertaking—entirely funded by donor gifts and supported by over 1,000 individuals from inception to completion.

We partnered with the client for over a year, developing multiple designs and concepts that aligned with their goals, vision, and budget.

Each project begins with a complimentary Concept Design Drawing of the donor walls and plaques. In addition to the drawings, we provide:

  • Material samples

  • Project cost estimates

  • A clear plan for updating and adding donor names

  • A detailed schedule and step-by-step implementation process

All of our donor recognition programs are highly customized, designed to meet your exact needs and blend seamlessly into your space.
